SAYA!
is a non-profit [501 (c) (3)] community based
organization dedicated to creating social change
and opportunities for South Asian youth to realize
their fullest potential.
We
started this organization to nurture the abilities
and potential of South Asian youth, while addressing
the myriad challenges they faceat home,
in school, and within the broader community. Many
experience racism. Others struggle with conflicting
values inside and outside the home. It is important
to learn to navigate an educational system that
is ill equipped to meet the needs of immigrant
students. Through school- and center-based programs
and a caring, committed staff, SAYA! responds
to the needs of South Asian youth through counseling,
educational support, recreational and artistic
opportunities, job readiness training, and leadership-building
activities.
Our
services would not be possible without continued
generosity from individuals, foundations, and
corporations who believe in this powerful movement.
By donating time or money, you can truly change
the lives South Asian youth in New York City.
There are many ways to help. We welcome your involvement,
no matter what it is. Please click on the links

Your
support is gratefully received and deeply appreciated.
